Marit Duffy, MD received a B.A. in Chemistry from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia and an MD from the Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, MD. where she achieved membership in the prestigious Honor Society Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA). She then completed an Internship and Radiology Residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington D.C.
She has worked at Fort Belvoir Community Hospital in Virginia and at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas as a Diagnostic Radiologist while also serving as a Deputy Chief of the Department of Radiology and Section Chief for Breast Imaging. She rose to the rank of Major in the US Army Medical Corp.
Certified in 3D Breast Tomosynthesis and Breast MRI with Biopsy, she is a member of the Society of Breast Imaging and Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology and is licensed to practice medicine in Maryland.
She joined ARA in June 2020 and will concentrate on breast imaging and minimally invasive breast biopsies.
