Overview
The radiology division of the Breast Center provides complete breast imaging and imaging-guided biopsy services. Six Board Certified Radiologists, with special training and interest in breast imaging, staff the Breast Center located in the Belcher Pavilion. All screening mammograms performed throughout the Anne Arundel Health Care System are interpreted by one of these dedicated mammographers. Diagnostic evaluations are provided at the Breast Center to address any clinical problems using the latest technology and information available. This includes digital mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI, as well as the most recent technology for minimally invasive breast biopsies.
